The inside pictures also is leather or some similar material. The chips inside are a thin plastic but appear to be vintage, however I don't know if they are the original ones. All chip trays are removable, lid slides in and holds shut so it can be carried by the very sturdy handle.
There is a crack in the wood, see pictures, still opens and closes and stay shut. Nice display piece or a set to be used.This is a vintage piece and shows wear. Please look at all of the pictures closely. The pictures are the description.
