That advertisement reads: "Shure Winner" paper poker chips, made of compressed paper, very hard, smooth, nicely finished, round edges, noiseless. A light and serviceable poker chip that is practically indestructible. Has jockey design on both sides, size 1 1/2 inch. Rare survivors considering the material their made of!Chips: Very very clean & solid with distinct logo and jockey stamping on both sides. White 154, Red 74, Blue 74 = Total 302 chips. In Excellent Condition (NO damaged chips). Carousel: I do NOT believe the carousel is period correct, however it has a swivel base, is made from a beautiful two-tone hardwood w/ a burnt orange color bakelite handle & storage slots for two decks of playing cards.
The only flaw on the carousel is fingernail scratchs around the handle. Cover: The cover is a two-tone brown tweed material on rigid cardboard. Has minor scuffs/scratchs normal to age/use/storage.Believed to be authentic, but have Not been appraised by a professional dealer.
