Rare vintage Italian poker chip/plaque set (269) in exquisite burl wood box

This is a magnificent and rare mid century poker set (269 chips) in European style. It features mostly rectangular shape chips or''plaque'' made in acrylic with a mother of pearl finish. Stamped on one side with different denomination according to their color and they come.

I can assure you that this. The chips are in excellent condition and have been barely used. The box has some small scratch consistent with it's age and it's missing the Dal Negro logo that's supossed to be in the interior of the upper lid (you can see the trace of the glue where the logo is missing). However, it's still possible to identify it has a Dal Negro set because they are the only one to produce chips like those features in this set.
