Full Set of Antique Clay Poker Chips Embossed withDog, Cat & Monkey Playing Poker

This poker chip design appeared as early as 1905 in the American News Co. Catalog of gambling supplies and are great examples of this historic chip design that poker chip collectors know as Stop Monkeying (PC-RA). There are approximately 50 white chips, 25 red chips and 25 blue/black chips with each slot in the caddy filled with at least 25 chips for a total of just over 100 chips. The caddy includes a slot for a deck of playing cards and for display purposes, this set includes a vintage deck of Bicycle 808 playing cards from the U.

Complete sets like this are hard to find in this condition! These items would make a great display for the poker or game collector or would make a great gift for the poker enthusiast.

This set is in exceptional condition for its age. The caddy is solidly built, has a beveled top edge and is stained to a brown-walnut. It has only minimal signs of edge wear with only a few small dents and scratches. The clay poker chips are susceptible to "dings, " but I see no significant condition issues.
