NATIONAL SYMBOL SET OF 5 MATCHING OVERSIZE POKER CHIPS. This is a Rare & Desirable Antique American made Set of Matching Mexican Federal Eagle poker chip set that includes red, white, blue, yellow, and pink border Eagle chips.

The Eagle holding a rattlesnake in its beak perched on a cactus is the Mexican National Symbol. The front patterns are finely detailed, and the obverse has a Liberty Cap with a sun burst background.

All of the chips are oversize at 1 9/16 in diameter vs. The standard 1 1/2 diameter; and have a double outside border in a corrugated pattern. The chips are all from the same set and appear to have light wear and only very light surface scratches from actual use. There are no edge chips or cracks to these chips.

This handsome and hard to find chip set would be the centerpiece of many poker chip collections.
