1940's Compendium Traveling Gaming Gambling Trunk Box - with contents. Includes all the contents that may or may not be complete , but seems original to the compendium - gaming trunk box. An Ad found online in the 1930's for Arthur - POPPER CO. NYC reads (Manufactures of Adult Games and Complete Line of Adult Casino Equipment). It does need some tlc , but is amazing that it is the trunk box with contents - rare and very sought after and hard to find. Gaming includes many card games (black jack , poker , you name it) , roulette wheel game , cribbage , backgammon , chess & checkers , many dice games , domino's , scrabble and more.. Measures (16 1/2" inches L x about 9" H x 10 D) , Weight is about 23 lbs. Made of (leather exterior - solid mahogany interior w brass handles).
