1997 Playoff First & Ten Chip Shots Complete Set (1-250) Football Poker Chips. This 250-coin set was distributed one per 1997 Playoff First and Ten pack and the checklist mirrors that of the Absolute base set. The first 200-chips were inserted in hobby packs and the final 50 were inserted in special retail packs.
A small sticker with the player's image and information was adhered to a colored plastic chip similar to a Las Vegas style poker chip. The First and Ten chips were produced in three different colors: green, red, and yellow. The edges of the coins feature a striped pattern of one white stripe within two stripes of either red, green, or blue.These Yellow chips feature an edge color scheme of green/white/green stripes. Note that the coins are identical to the first 200-chips in the Absolute Chip Shots except for the color schemes. None of the color scheme patterns appear to be easier or tougher to pull from either product. Please note that this set is compiled from a mix of the different color variations (green, red, and yellow) but each unique chip number and player are accounted for (1-250) as the complete set. Most chips are in near mint condition or better.
Some chips have slightly worn stickers or slightly creased stickers, but the plastic chips themselves are in near mint condition or better.
